Healthy Recipe for Diabetic Patients – African Breadfruit (Ukwa) With Snail

INGEDIENTS USED:

  • Breadfruit (Ukwa)
  • Dry Fish
  • Snail
    Bitter Leaf
  • Palm Oil
  • Avocado Oil
  • Chili
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Black Pepper
  • Ginger
  • Salt to taste

 

PREPARATION:

  • Wash Ukwa thoroughly.
  • Cook in water (pour out and replace water after about 10 minutes).
  • After 45 minutes of cooking add salt, and other spices (chilli, cayenne, oregano, black pepper and ginger).
  • Add dry fish and some pre-washed fresh bitter leaves drained of excessive bitterness.
  • Add little palm oil.
  • Fry half ripe fried plantain in avocado oil.
  • Boil Snail and cook in peppered.
