Healthy Recipe for Diabetic Patients – Brown Bulgur Wheat with Avocado

INGREDIENTS USED:

  • Brown Bulgur Wheat
  • Chicken/Lamb
  • Carrots
  • Onions
  • Green Pepper
  • Turmeric
  • Black Pepper
  • White Pepper Powder
  • Ginger
  • Curry
  • Oregano
  • Thyme
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Avocado Pear
  • Avocado Oil
  • Salt to taste

 

PREPARATION:

  • Pour your oil in the saucer.
  • Add shredded chicken or lamb. Add chopped onions, carrots and green pepper. Spice with little salt, turmeric, black pepper, white pepper powder, ginger, curry, oregano, thyme and cayenne pepper.
  • Add pre-soaked or lightly parboiled Brown Bulgur Wheat. Drain out water completely before adding. Mix continuously and cook with low heat.
  • Peel and cut one avocado pear. Cut one bell pepper at the top and bottom. Further cut into two horizontally to form a circle.
  • Put your choice of healthy oil in a frying pan and place the cut bell pepper to sit on the surface of the pan.
  • Break two eggs and empty into each cut bell pepper. Stick small cuts of avocado in the cooking egg. Use low heat and cover to cook.
  • Dish your food and decorate with the remaining avocado pear cuts.
